So, our very own Kim is an uber craft junkie. She found THIS project and thought we should give it a try. So we ended up picking up some crappy old tins for ridiculously cheap to play with.
And with a pile of shredded newspaper, a little flour, a dash of salt and lots of paint – turned them into these delightful multi-purpose faux-bois tree stumps.
I keep trying to find an idea for the perfect little chipmunk to peek out of the little knot holes. Haven’t found anything yet though.

Coolio! Can't wait to finish my project and share it, too, but it is NOT as cool as that.
They are actually really REALLY easy! The hardest part is painting the black layer because the paper mache is really lumpy.
